It’s as much a game plan issue as it is a Hurn not understanding the game plan issue. You can’t blame a plan when it is not followed.
We looked much better in the middle quarters taking the kicks into the corridor etc. The dogs play high tempo and it will be hard to crack it, with our game plan you just need to persist.
If Hurn doesn’t take 10x kicks down the line and 4 smothered inside d50 it’s a different game. We lost all confidence after being belted in the first quarter and tried to make it up from there.
Putting that aside, this midfield should never get belted like that so it’s far from the only reason.
