Hawx back into the top 4 lol. Ridiculous how much potential we've got going forward. Nowhere close to our final form.

Im not sure myself. I think it is one of those things where I was born with a crop of awesome and then I have kind of watered the gardens, tended to the farm and created this farmable mass of fantastic brilliance. I have so much to give and share out but just not enough hours in the day to give it all out.

    Its hard sometimes

Well someone needs to stop Richmond. Not sure if too many would be keen on that team being Hawks though

I'm also at this Carlton game.

Kerridge, Graham and Polson are a raffle for the worst AFL players this decade.

I feel sorry for Cripps and Curnow having to put up with these shit cunts.

I know they've been fucking spanked a number of times this season, but surely making Cameron McCarthy look good is the lowest of low points

Been saying this all year. Our goals conceded from our bottom four being outrageously shit is unfathomable.

Kerridge Polson and Graham put on a clinic after half time. Had a hand in every Docker goal.

That HTB decision on Polson was terrible though.

Ive been saying it all year also, but Paddy Dow is bog average. Think the best career he could carve out is one on the same path as say Chris Masten

Not convinced at all. Out of all the first year players to have played a full year, only one getting better as season goes on rather than hitting the wall.

It's a little sadistic of me, but I've hit up BF after all our wins this year and browsed the opposition team boards. I'll have a quick read of the predictions thread and then watch it all come crashing down two minutes later as i scroll through their autopsy/melt thread.

North has been the most entertaining read by far. Talks of finals to delisting half the team in a matter of hours, worst loss under Brad Scott, Ben Brown is nothing more than a solid forward

Priority picks are after the initial first round.

Isn't North the most populated board on BF or something? as they have no supporters IRL

Yeah I think so. Pretty sure Adelaide is #2 and at best I can kind of skim over a thread or two, North's must be beyond nuts.

Unless you have consecutive seasons with 4 wins or less, in which case you can get one alongside your first pick.

But that doesn't apply this year anyway.

Jack Silvagni is basically Nathan Ablett.

I'd almost go as far as saying he's getting games on name alone (although been dropped a couple times), however Carlton only have a handful of AFL standard players let alone depth. Plus Ellie Plowman, Weitering and JONES are injured atm.

They have far better options up forward in Curnow and McKay, so has been thrown back and just isn't strong enough in 1 on 1 contests.

Scary thing for the Blues is that Daisy has been one of their better players this season, along with Simpson (although he's looked cooked since his 300th) and Ed Curnow. All getting on in age.

Kreuzer may not play again depending on this heart issue. Murphy keeps getting injured then comes back underdone or plays shit.

Although Docherty comes back next year, they're only missing Fisher (who is a very good young player) and 3 tall defenders from their "best" side.

I can't see where the help comes from. They're basically playing with half a team each week, the rest are crap/rare sightings drifting in and out of the game. Eg. Forgot Pickett was playing until the 3rd quarter where he cleverly slapped a ball back in play (Graham then fucked up what should've been a certain goal)

I really can't see the light at the end of the tunnel for Carlton and its already been a very long, dark tunnel.

    Anything I missed LondonCalling Athomas

Fair shout. I'm not sure what Silvagni actually does?

Mostly agreed, but definitely can see light at the end of the tunnel.

Good currently injured players: Plowman, Williamson, Fisher, Jones, Doc, Cunningham, Weitering, Kreuz.
I'll agree that Kreuz heart scare is a bit worrying and that Cunningham (and even Weitering) are debatable for how good they are.
Murphy has been great since back.
It is important to note that majority of our injuries have been defence: Plowman, Williamson, Jones, Weitering, Alex Silvangi. Add in Rowe, Marchbank, Byrne and Simpson missing games / playing injured this year, and everything breaks down from there.

Polson is the worst player in the AFL. Silvangi is playing because we have a lot of injuries still in defence, otherwise would be dropped. Pickett has been disappointing (he was injured most of the year, looked great in pre-season lol), Lamb is a depth player, Graham will be delisted (is also depth), Kerridge I like but will probably be delisted.
Lobbe has looked good in his two games so far, which is a relief if we lose Kreuz.

We've had more injuries that Collingwood, GWS & Adelaide, and they have better lists already, so it's really a write-off for 2018.

We've signed up all the kids (and Murph etc) so at least we shouldn't lose any players this off-season.

    Something like
OUT: Graham, Garlett, O'Shea, Mullett, Kerridge
    IN: 1, 19, 24, 28

Obviously we'd love to get Gaff/Shiel but you would think they will go elsewhere. Doc is like a new recruit. We should also recruit Richmond's medical team.
