Actually hope they make it an annual thing. Managed to get 34k to the game as well
We demand an investigation into the replacement of referee Rafshan Irmatov and his departure at a difficult time in such an important match. We ask for an examination of the grassland that was not suitable for the Syrian team, while Australian players seem to be wearing shoes that cling to the long grass, so we saw Syrian players fall during the game, while Australia's players are steady.

They said it was a minor injury. But when youíve had 764 minor calf injuries in the last 2 years itís a problem

A bit of agro in WA media about Jesse Hogans story. The whole mental health thing is seen as a lie. Haggers and co believe Hogan was kicked out of the club by the senior leadership group for repeated indiscretions and Fremantle then put out the statement about mental health issues to cover it up.

Hogan/Freo management going to organise a buy out within the coming weeks according to Haggers and Duffers. He wont get very much at all in relation to his contract (Duffield said he will get about 10-20% of his contract paid out as most of his deal is performance based)

Hogan will probably take the next 1-2 years off and then come back in the draft youd speculate/think

I think we can all look at Lance Franklin as the cause of this.

Are all the AFLW coaches mentally retarded or just lil bitches all round?

The coaching is flat out disgraceful. A sport that greatly lacks scoring, so what do you do. You flood the backline with all but 1 of your fucking player. Its absolutely absurd. These morons need to realise winning is secondary to producing a good product at this very early stages. Completely killing the contest with defensive bullshit tactics isnt really helping anyone but yourself.

Next season change the rules. Each team has no more then 8 players in the 50. If its broken, the opposition gets a free kick. Have a extra umpire in each 50 to count the players to keep it on track. Its sad that it will come to this but its the only way to stop the embarassing scorelines from continuing

Unfortunately it's to do with what level they are perceived to be playing. AFLW does not equal AFL. They are trying to play an AFL brand when they don't have the players/skills.

Amateur coaches are not coaching their team to push all players back and then run forward on a turnover because the players simply can't. Some of these AFLW coaches need to realise this and actually coach to the players abilities.

They need to play on smaller fields. They don't have the kicking distance to make the defence spread far enough, and even if they do keep possession with the congestion they still have 3/4 of a field to get through.

I've gone on about the smaller grounds since it started. Cant get my head around why they wouldn't do it.

The women bring the boundaries in for the cricket and it makes for much better viewing.

Kane Cornes is so cringeworthy. Charlie Curnow does his knee slipping on tiles and he should be more responsible and is letting his team down. Guy is flat our deluded

Isn't the issue posts? They can't bring the posts in because when they then move it back for men's games, you're left with 8 plates in the ground which are fairly dangerous. They do need to come up with a way for some portable ones.

At the same time, go back to playing in like under 12s and you'd still score more. These players would kick it longer than what we would have as 12 year olds but just don't get the scoring. Probably is the difference of being coached v running around aimlessly as we would have as juniors.

I don't waste my time with anything Cornes puts out but didn't Curnow hurt his knee playing basketball? Not that I think there should be much of an issue with thst either to be fair.

Yeah but that was not what Cornes was having a go at. He was having a crack at him slipping on tiles and cracking his knee instead

    Itís clearly a pay issue.

Until we are willing to pay them equal to men, we canít expect equal scoring.

Is this a case where you actually allow steroid use?

Its not the worst idea when you think about it. Will lower injuries, improve standard of play, aid in there sex change procedures. Its a win-win-win scenario
