Guy I went to school with is one of the Eagles biggest ever draft busts.

Also got in a "fight" with him in intra-house footy because I drilled him and useless prick hated getting tackled (may have also rubbed his face in the ground but if you're a year 12 and you let a year 10 that's half your size do that, shame on you).

Ben Reid another soft tissue injury. Quite amazed he still has a contract at this point.

Im not sure myself. I think it is one of those things where I was born with a crop of awesome and then I have kind of watered the gardens, tended to the farm and created this farmable mass of fantastic brilliance. I have so much to give and share out but just not enough hours in the day to give it all out.

    Its hard sometimes

After being smashed by 10 goals in a pre season derby this time last year, west coast are going to win a pre season derby by 10 goals.

    Spooners confirmed this year then

At least with Reid he's proven that he can play when he can get on the field. Plenty of other floating about that have done next to nothing after spending 6-8 seasons on a list.

Yearly articles and talk about cutting down the pre season again.

Like everyone has forgotten that year the bombers were banned from the pre season matches and got rolled in the last qtr of round 1 by the swans

    Its literally 2 games

Honestly gobsmacked people think players can just roll out round one with teams not playing pre season games.

Think the AFL have got it right tbh

Most the clubs did another match they arranged themselves to get a 3rd in so they're going to happen regardless.

The scheduling seemed pretty woeful for this one though with teams getting 6 day breaks and traveling a bit. Surely that can be avoided in the pre season.

Wasn’t fuckgil and the AFL themselves looking at shortening the preseason because there’s too many injuries?

Enjoy more injuries in the regular season then when players go in underdone

Lol yeah the stress injuries are because of pre-season, not because they start training in november or anything

Dogs legend unsure about Thor jumper

    Tim Michell
It is fair to say Western Bulldogs legend Doug Hawkins won't be rushing to Whitten Oval to buy one of the Thor-inspired jumpers the club unveiled last night.

The Bulldogs revealed they would wear a jumper inspired by the Marvel character for their Round 1 clash against Sydney on March 23.

Hawkins said he understood the commercial realities of wearing the jumper, but he "wouldn’t play one game in it."

“Footy has changed and society has changed," Hawkins said on SEN.

"I am living back in the ‘80s when we were all playing footy and we probably wouldn’t do that. We wouldn’t wear a jumper like that."

The jumper has divided fans, from those who have described it as a gimmick to others who have backed the initiative.

“If it’s a one off thing for a promotion to promote the club, the game or sponsors and stuff like that, you’d do it," Hawkins said.

"But you wouldn’t wear it more than once, surely?

Actor Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the popular movie series, is a passionate Bulldogs supporter.
The Dogs should auction off the chance to be in attendance to watch Doug Hawkins watch Thor for the first time. Imagine getting absolutely turnt as fuck, and then watching him try and understand how that cunt can fly or shoot lightning after he's gone through half a slab himself.

Magic. If the club are happy to offer it to me for free, I'm also happy to stop editing his Wiki page with outlandish things.

It's a horrific jumper, I guess Sydney will have to wear some form of clash jumper as well given it's pretty much our jumper from behind.

I understand the concept but the execution is so poor, surely the Dogs would be Captain America as well, I mean it's literally their colour scheme (and would look better) compared to going with the guy who wears gold and red.

Not liking the path the AFL is going down even more than usual this year.

Hemsworth was their #1 ticket holder or something wasn’t he?

Which is why I eagerly await our Julie Bishop death stare and red high heels outfit, and our Daniel Ricciardo Renault F1 guernsey
