So I was right about upscaling then
Oh, I thought you meant like they dont do it at all etc.
Upscaling going to be the case for a while yet id imagine hence why Samsung have the converter. Infact Id be surprised if it ever changes for sports like AFL/NRL. Im pretty sure they still getting their heads wrapped around TV coming through in color
No idea why you'd spend extra on 8k, especially given how big you need to go and the exponential cost growth that involves. Plus you're basically either paying extortionate amounts or going inferior screen technology as the OLED screens aren't that big yet.
Two QLED 8k vertical screens thanks
I wonder if you can buy the Will & Grace boxset in 8K too?
8k tv is the biggest fucking waste of money
On an 85 inch screen you have to be about 1.5 metres away to notice the difference from 4K. The smaller the screen the closer you have to get.
Unless you’re going full home cinema with an 8k projector, it’s just not worth it
The 8k TV generally perform worse than a 4k anyway and given there is next to zero native content to actually benefit from it and the size/cost of the screen you need to even consider justifying it they're an absolute waste of money.
Just so many better ways to spend that money.
I have changed all my passwords on all websites at work due to an IT migration. Everything is all good except Rolling Zone. Does anyone know how to get your password if you have forgotten it? For some reason when I ask to renew my password and put in my email address it doe does not come through. It's like work thinks this site is spam or a forbidden website to look whilst working? So frustrating. I guess I could log out at home (the present one I'm writing on) I'm scared I won't be able to log back in ever. Any ideas? Please help. Yes I'm a retard when it comes to anything technology.
"Life is a bitch, learn how to screw it. "
I can reset your password to something simple and then you can go in and change it once you log in again?

* i can neither explain why this is 'news' or why tf i was reading itIn the screenshot from her Instagram story, which was first shared by @celeb_spellcheck back in August, and shows Elyse has captioned a selfie of herself sitting on her bed with the word: “Wallah.”
According to @celeb_spellcheck the influencer was actually trying to spell voila – though the context of her Instagram post can’t be confirmed as it has long expired.
The post resurfaced when it was shared on Twitter and gained a lot of attention.
“Thinking about this influencer who can’t spell voila,” @DietMountainDru wrote alongside the screenshot earlier this week, with his post getting more than 22,000 retweets and 342,000 likes.
I have no idea why it's an article or why I read it... but the Dachshund tweet brought back a memory of some radio ad butchering the pronunciation of that word for me a couple of months ago saying "dash hound" or something along those lines. Genuine wtf are they saying moment and then just wondering how the hell it ends up on a legit radio segment being repeatedly said completely wrong.
