So somehow I've been left in charge of 'babysitting' my 15 year old nephew and his two mates.

Cleaned them all up in foosball, was supposed to be for money but couldn't imagine it's a good look if any of them snitches to their parents

Bought a racing greyhound yesterday. Will start its career this time next year. Its name will be Brother Nero. Most of its siblings have had pretty good careers so far so would be shocked if i didnt atleast break even once it starts going. Got it cheap as people who bought it had to bail out so essentially got it half price

Second one ive bought. First one did its hip, but was able to live and stayed with the breeder.

Hopefully this one will have better luck

    "Think I'll break even."

Things I've heard almost every person I've ever met who owned a dog or a horse say and be wrong about for $800 please.

True that but ive taken over someone elses purchase. So 3000 essentially taken off the actual price. It would need to be the worst greyhound the litter has ever had to not break even.

If it gets injured I just get money back minis insurance which was like a few hundred bucks last time

My mate lost about 1k on a 1/8th share of a greyhound, it had a few places but the food and trainer costs are just unreasonable.

Its a 50/50 prize share for me so no costs once it starts running in that regard (have too pay fees before it runs though). This greyhound is worth about 8k before it takes its first shit so should hopefully do better then that. The worst of the lot has a 9 races 1 win 2 3rds record (still going) so hoping for atleast 1 win

If you go to settings, general settings, do you have the Full WYCGI editor turned on

Was on standard, I've changed to Enhanced (full WYSIWYG) but it's no different. Also tried basic and that's the same.

Also still fully cooked at home. My work one works fine so not sure what the variance is.

Can't like, can't multi-quote, can't emoji button even in advanced, no features on quick reply.

In the top left, does it say Secure or Not Secure? Fairly sure it works based on the basis of it being Not secure but dont have a Windows computer available to me besides this one to test on

I'd love to hear if this sort of stuff happens to anyone else.

Recently in the tech thread i asked a question regarding soundbars as I was looking at getting one or getting a proper sound system. I already have a second set of speakers (but they're not great).
I have a receiver but wanted to use that solely for my record player which I was moving into another part of the room.
Anyway, I live in an apartment complex and there is a hard rubbish collection spot in the car park and I walk past there every night when I take my dog out for a piss and as I look over there it was, a Yamaha receiver. Tested it out and it works. So now all I have to do is maybe upgrade my speakers for the TV.

Another example is I needed a blazer for a function, after looking at a few around $150ish about a week before the event I went to Savers and there was a Hugo Boss jacket for $14, fit perfectly.

    We live in a simulation.

I feel like I live on the opposite end of the spectrum... I buy something and then it's there for cheap. For example bought a car at the end of February... Probably could have gotten it for about 75% of what I paid, if not better now.

It's not a great accolade but it is still better than the whole genre of mumble rap. Gotta give the man credit for making money out of such little talent

    He is hypnotically awful

I think the idea behind his success is he is as anti establishment as you are going to get. If the media wanted to prototype build human scum, itd be this guy, so a vote for him is kind of a vote against big business and media in a way. He is the rap version of Donald Trump
