All the fucking recipes use farenheit the stupid yankee cunts.

Yeah mash so easy. Cook, smush it still in the bag, cut corner and pipe it out.

Yeah everything. Potatoes, salt, butter, milk. Did a bit too much milk, so was a bit too runny. But still tasted perfect.

I did 5 standard white potatoes (sliced into discs so could have the bag pretty flat still), 2.5 tsp salt, 3/4 cup of milk (probably 1/3-1/2 better consistency) and a heap of butter (not measured, was 2-3 heaped tsps)

Well you cook in shell but the end product is closer to poached.

Apparently its slightly different to even a perfect saucepan poach (could be good or bad depending on personal pref)

It's actually risky to sous vide fresh garlic so wouldn't recommend. Most use garlic powder

shid, i gotta try that mash method. A good mash is the GOAT side.
We demand an investigation into the replacement of referee Rafshan Irmatov and his departure at a difficult time in such an important match. We ask for an examination of the grassland that was not suitable for the Syrian team, while Australian players seem to be wearing shoes that cling to the long grass, so we saw Syrian players fall during the game, while Australia's players are steady.

I think it's all about the stir of the water. Mines usually too aggressive and the egg falls apart.

    Simple Poaching Method:

    Small-Medium saucepan
Water on barely simmer ... more violent the boil, more white breakup you will get. You want it pretty much like a water bath. No need for vinegar or anything.
Crack egg into ramekin/measuring cup/etc. Using a vessel to pour in egg is more consistent than cracking directly in.
Vortex (optional imo, I usually dont)
    Pour egg in.
    Drop Toast
Egg is done when toast is done
Remove egg using slotted spoon onto Tea Towel/Paper towel to dry. Transfer to toast. Split yolk with knife and season with S&P.
    Done.

Yeah very traditional French. Mum being Italian using bits of garlic but very rarely butter in anything unless necessary. That's how I've learnt

    Prep

    Too much boil

    Slight simmer

Realisation that these are shit eggs despite buying them yesterday. Top one is alright. But good eggs are vital for poaching. I got really used to eggs straight from our chickens. So good

Still come out alright, except the bottom one which you could tell from the water broke up instantly.

Cooked maybe 30 seconds too long as well. Yolk slightly set, but still runny

Yes we finally got chickens again and after years of lazy chickens who rarely gave us eggs we got 3 in the hope of getting at least one egg a day. Now we're getting 3 a day from these champs so having so many eggs.
Am not bad at poaching eggs most of the time.
