fk me so many shares I 'should' have bought ~3 weeks ago when there was that dip, even some asx200 have gone 25%++ in that short space of time.

moral of the story: STFU Gamblor and bring on some trump volatility

    Sad Panda.

It's now almost tripled from where I sold for a small profit. To be fair, given I'd written the money off that's still a huge win.

That's it I'm taking EE's side in your little beef.

My complaints are usually confined to the same 2-3 stocks that I previously held or holding, I'm not laying claim to everything and anything on the market as soon as it moves.

And I am always going to be a bitter Clint about PBH in particular, deal with it m8.

Trying to get into ASX : GIB but been a massive pain so just been little buys here and there to date. Another one of those underreactions to a great announcement IMO. Worth a go for a very long term hold.

Our bank won't give out a loan for a small business. Back to the drawing board.

No equity in your property you can secure against?

Would recommend talking to a broker, they have access to a far wider range of borrowers and products.

Trying to now. We have equity in our home, but not online. The home has been renovated since 2008. but online it looks nothing like the old photo. Cheers I'll try a broker now. Appreciate your help.

Zero chance. A bank wouldnt give a loan if I had a gold nugget lodged in my ass and wanted 50 bucks for a shovel to dig it out

Yeah brokers are good, banks pay them rather than you as well which is the added bonus. There's definitely a massive variance between good and bad brokers though and it's worth doing some research on them before jumping in if you don't already know someone who is good.

Lot of good deals to refinance right now in general, very low rates and some pretty generous cash back offers as well so probably worth talking to one just for that. If you've got equity that's 100% the best way to get the funding for any small business venture.

Just remember to get the structuring right and talk to your accountant when setting up the business, if you're using the home to secure the funding it's definitely worth discussing a corporate structure for the asset protection. No idea what kind of business it is but if there is basically any risk involved this is generally a no brainer, costs somewhere around a grand to do but just worth it for sleep at night factor if nothing else.

Yep $1000 is nothing in the scheme of things. We hope to talk about it to our accountant asap. It's my better half's business. I'm just trying to support her in any way I can. Thanks again for the info.

What's everyone thinking on exit plan?

I wouldn't mind getting out pre production just due to level of risk involved. If recovery etc turns pear shaped it could become a dog real quick but at the same time if all goes well could be a generational cash cow.

Risk v reward for me is saying hold but if I fully expect some profit taking on this in the next 6mths.

Lol the SKN latest update is so bad. What an absolute shit show.

Only $70k in sales for the quarter, with only $6.5k relating to sales of the sanitiser, yet they allegedly sold 1,600 units, so $4 per item, practically giving them away.

Such pathetic attempts to justify the performance. Still no orders placed under this $2.4m "binding" distribution agreement, played down expectations that it'll be achieved and that the agreement could be terminated, the distributors who were supposed to get the product in 10,000 retail stores seems non existent.

The worst part is if it relists I probably won't even be able to get rid of them and realise a CGT loss as I won't have a marketable parcel of shares...

To be honest I don't have a set target price. If I buy other parcels between now and then I may look to realise some profits.

Without the technical expertise I don't know how risky the project is to sort the required %, but the management seem confident and stand to lose a lot of it isn't successful. With the 5 year offtake agreement signed and project equity financed virtually all other risks have been mitigated.

I don't really want to realise any gains until next FY (although I'm wary of how badly that plan backfired 4 months ago).

Really depends on your situation. Not so much a team strategy this

Im just hanging in for the long haul because im so insanely ahead atm I can just coast by and ride it out without it impacting anything. I dont hold enough for example to change my bottom line where id cry if it say went to 50c from here
