Possibly the coolest thing I saw in Adelaide was fuel under $1.00, that was genuinely one of those things I didn't think I'd ever see again in my lifetime.

FMG share price makes zero sense to me based on their company model. Its probably one of the more bizarre things ive seen investment wise. Id expect them to be 3 bucks sooner rather then later really

I kind of expect them to create a aritficial oil shortage toe put up the prices based on the concept that 10% of 1.50 is better then 10% of 90c so to speak, by simply going the "we are lowering imports" line

The govt may be stockpiling oil from what I can see but these guys could easily go in the other direction.

Dow Jones up over 6% today, surely this is another dead cat bounce or USA has agreed to sacrifice at least 10% of its population to keep things ticking.

2.2 trillion getting thrown in officially and the new knowledge that this is the starting point got everyone excited more or less.

Copped a whack with Woolworths going down after 7 good days in a row.

Really confused by the drop. Makes no sense whatsoever

Incredily surprised by the current mediocre performance in comparison to what I expected

Would have expected CBA/NAB/WestPac all to be up well over 5% already

I just got petrol for 79c.

I don't think i've ever (personally) paid that little in my entire life
We demand an investigation into the replacement of referee Rafshan Irmatov and his departure at a difficult time in such an important match. We ask for an examination of the grassland that was not suitable for the Syrian team, while Australian players seem to be wearing shoes that cling to the long grass, so we saw Syrian players fall during the game, while Australia's players are steady.

WA still going at 94c to 1.12

Seems like most are expecting another 25% drop from here too. Their is huge stockpiling going on at all levels too as our economy essentially has that flexibility so will be interesting to see how this is tackled in say 12 months time when prices stabilise and we go back to being charged a shitload for purchases that happened during the downturn....

Seems like a legit business right now. Still around $1.30 where I am.

Yeah, similar here. Low end in most parts of Melb is around 120 and top end around 135. Then there are a few in the outer northern suburbs that are below $1, all of which are either independent or smaller brands.

To be fair, that was (another) brand new petrol station that opened yesterday. Prices are pretty much all back to 117-119c

Which is a load of horse crap

Scomo essentially needs to hand down a 10 figure fine if this crap continues

That stretch of North East Road (Modbury - CBD, which is approx 9.5kms) now has a total of 17 petrol stations on there.

    Adelaide - City of Bowsers

To be fair, I didn't notice all the churches, there were a few but it didn't feel like there was anywhere near enough to justify that name.

So City of Bowsers it is.

Although city of dodgy looking "gaming" rooms also would fit appropriately.

Adelaide Oval was cool, would have been better to watch a game there but these are the times we live in unfortunately. Having the entire Zoo to myself was also cool, it was a decent enough zoo. Wine region was great though, that was a lot of fun, couple of cool spots out there.
