    So where to from here?

Can't be much left that isn't priced in but nobody will be putting money in either.

I think maybe a long shutdown isn't priced in, a few weeks at most?

Honestly don’t know as you said there is a lack of supply and demand in the economy.

I guess is the last resort is the fed or RBA buy stocks???

I don’t even know this is clearly uncharted waters for everyone.

Share loss on Coles and you've got an asset yielding roughly 6% p.a. on current prices that has a very good chance to rebound in the not too distant future.

Hence the risk/reward on 3-5% is totally justifiable and a good result while it's a horrendous payout for the risk factor on gambling.
Yeah I wasn't being so serious with that.

US markets have ran on a May 31st end date of their shutdown essentially. Not sure where they picked this number from but id suggest they just looked at Wuhan

GRRR. Went Resmed and Coles and ignored Woolies.

Bought into Woolies at 37.01 (although in saying this its now 38.19( and will stick in a long hold for the time being as with Coles with a sell off if they hit 5% below my current purchase prices

Could be a rally this week just to get flogged again once the lockdowns come in at the end of the week.

    BHP up 11%

Everyones beginning to realise demand is extremely high for a ton of things, that was largely unpredicted. You have electronics/agriculture/pharmeceutical and the flow on industries from that and so many struggling to keep up with demand. These are fairly big industries. Hoarding is taking new steps in alot of countries. Its no longer food. It general hoarding. People are hoarding firearms I mean. Locking people in their homes does not hurt everyone it appears and the market is waking up to that. If we are pushing people into factories to make shit, running factories 24/7 their needs to be a form of economic upturn based on that

Some industries are clearly heading the other way in regards to lack of demand and people probably need to realise that. Jobs are being cut, they need to pop up in other areas quite clearly. The supply chain has proven to be incredibly weak. Their needs to be a response to that no matter what happens. If you can view a strong response in the long term and can afford the short term pain, why wouldnt you be buying back in?

Might be worth keeping an eye on Metcash holdings as well as independent grocers are getting hammered as well, up 20.33% today
We demand an investigation into the replacement of referee Rafshan Irmatov and his departure at a difficult time in such an important match. We ask for an examination of the grassland that was not suitable for the Syrian team, while Australian players seem to be wearing shoes that cling to the long grass, so we saw Syrian players fall during the game, while Australia's players are steady.

BHP haven't really hired any new roles on a perm basis for fucking ages so I suspect just reflecting they were able to drop a tonne of costs.

Also the fact no sites have been shutdown is huge. Expect a big hit if they need to shut sites.

Wasn’t oil price up earlier today? Would help BHP’s share price

Although, doesn’t seem like anything is explainable at this point anyway

    Oils down bro

Aud/usd marginally up which would hurt them too given sales in usd generally.

There's too many assumptions on assumptions to make sense of it as you say
