Enemy was awesome. Was mesmerised. Watched it a 2nd time before watching the analysis video, glad I did as I picked up a lot of it (maybe 50%) but the explanation vid still showed me stuff I might not have ever got.

Top 5 of the year so far for me:
    1. Enemy
    2. Whiplash
    3. Gone Girl
    4. What We Do In The Shadows
    5. Mommy

Think a re-watch of Whiplash will put it to #1 (seen Gone Girl twice already as well) but Whiplash was phenomenal...

Yeah I am a massive Nolan fan-boy. Think I was more excited for The Dark Knight Rises but still pretty bloody pumped for this! IMAX too!

From the guy who made Once. Nice and light, highly idealised version of music but the songs are nice and its whimsical.

    Interstellar. 9/10

Won't spoil anything but will use spoiler tags below anyway as you should see this film regardless of what I say about it

Omgggg so good!!! I had the occasional flaw but by the end I could barely breathe so that says enough. Have to wait 5 days to see it again now :'(

I saw it at a cinema that is basically a half IMAX and I was blown away, this really is an experience, the movie is not perfect but the way it makes you feel at points is. Easily one of my favorite movies of the year, I see it winning a lot of visual awards come Oscar season too.

    Isn't that the same everywhere?

Ive never had reserved seating for cinemas, or even heard of it for that matter (other than gold class)

All Village Cinemas in Melb have reserved seating (and most Hoyts that I've been too).

Only cinemas I've been to that don't is Reading Cinemas Epping.

The movie definitely had small flaws, but the experience was amazing. Visually, its the best i have ever seen, and the acting was amazing as well.

The story itself was really engrossing, but it was a bit too long IMO.

9/10 for me, it met most of my expectations, which were really high to begin with.
