Bought a Switch in preparation for Smash Bros and Pokemon but figured I could get a few months play out of it before then. Cheap atm with ebay's promos.

Concept is really cool and I thought it was a bit gimmicky when it came out but it's actually really practical.

Yeah, love my Switch, although I've never actually used it outside it's dock.. I'm probably in the minority like that.
I would if I used public transport though

Have to get BOTW + Oddysey imo. Love South Park game too (not exclusive to Switch etc)

Hey IT brahs need some help

In my previous role I used Micrsoft Lync 2010 extensively for screen sharing but a really useful feature for it's ability to give control of your screen to colleagues. The details are here

    https://support.office.com/en-us/art...D0EAABAAA=2010

However Lync 2010 doesn't really seem to be supported any more

I have an external office location where it would be great for me to be able to quickly jump in and build reports/grab data from their servers/programs (without paying the ridiculous fees they charge for cloud servers or remote logins) as I don't trust the mutts that work their to accurately pull the data for me.

Is there anything like Lync 2010 available or anything that would allow me to simply take control of other computers for the above purposes?

Im not sure myself. I think it is one of those things where I was born with a crop of awesome and then I have kind of watered the gardens, tended to the farm and created this farmable mass of fantastic brilliance. I have so much to give and share out but just not enough hours in the day to give it all out.

    Its hard sometimes

We demand an investigation into the replacement of referee Rafshan Irmatov and his departure at a difficult time in such an important match. We ask for an examination of the grassland that was not suitable for the Syrian team, while Australian players seem to be wearing shoes that cling to the long grass, so we saw Syrian players fall during the game, while Australia's players are steady.

Teamviewer has certainly taken over that market I think.

I know that but I thought they'd taken away the particular screen control functionality, thankfully they haven't

Looking for a laptop or surface at around $1,500-$2,000. Any suggestions?

First I've heard of the LG Gram, can you even buy it in Aus? Quick googling doesn't show much.

Use the surface pros for work which do the job well however if you don't have it docked most of the time I'm not sure I'd want to work on it much as the screen is rather small. The Surface is a nice machine however costs for specs sees other laptops at a better price. Am currently looking at the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon G6 models. Lightweight 14" with better specs than surface for price comparison. Again, I don't have much experience in laptops outside of MBP, Surface Pros and HP Probooks.

I would've thought the Gram has made it here by now, but maybe not.

Playing a few games on the Switch that were all PC ports, didn't realise they were going to make their way to the Switch so pleasantly surprised

Undertale, Hollow Knight and Celeste. Undertale a bit like Earthbound but the fighting mechanic is awesome.
Hollow Knight and Celeste are platformers, think Hollow Knight is a clear stand out of the 3 but all very good / well reviewed

Watched a few tutorial and tips vids and played some more today. Watching more videos now and itís ridiculous how much stuff Iím still missing out on. Think Iím going to stop with the missions for a while.

This game seriously has hundreds of hours of new content it seems.
