Learn pivot tables my friend (they arent complicated)
ye can only think macro with a button you click to recalc every time
Feel so fucken poverty asking as this should be easy, but Monday morning . Someone help pls
I have two columns of data. Say one is a name, one is a number. From these two columns I want to make a cell that contains a list of all names that have values below zero. How?
e.g.
Column A: A B C D E
Column B: 5 0 -1 3 -2
then the function(s) give me the list of -1,-2
Even just give me a suggestion for something that might make my mind begin to work it out (no pivot tables you pivot table fgts)
Surely just working with =IF function of some sort.
For column a
=if(b1<0,a1,"")
Column b
=if(b1<0,b1,"")
Only problem with this is it will leave any positive integer cells blank so you might have to tidy that up with a filter
Or as Yenny said u could just apply a filter to the original table and that would do the trick
