But when 20% of the cases can be traced back to the absolute cluster fuck that was that cruise ship situation its hard to give NSW govt a pass.

Police launching legal action against the Ruby Princess fuckup???
We demand an investigation into the replacement of referee Rafshan Irmatov and his departure at a difficult time in such an important match. We ask for an examination of the grassland that was not suitable for the Syrian team, while Australian players seem to be wearing shoes that cling to the long grass, so we saw Syrian players fall during the game, while Australia's players are steady.

    I'm split 50/50.

On one hand I don't think the restrictions were strong enough or quick enough. Especially if you compared them to places in Europe. Only just closing schools, people still doing what ever the fuck they want I.e beach, parks, instead of going out just hosting parties at home and above all the care free "she'll be right" won't happen to me attitude putting many people at risk. Those things combined has the potential to fuck a lot of things up

On the other hand I agree with embers with the natural distancing of living space and our own distancing (see peak hour trains where we can easily fit 100 more people yet people will not hop on) we have in aus.Mixed together with lower population and it's possible we come away from this very lucky and will be back to normal the same time as Europe.

TLDR it's going to be either very bad or we will be very lucky

Boris been admitted to hospital, canít imagine thereís not much they canít do from 10 downing so he mustnít be in great shape.

Heís had a fever etc pretty much the whole time I think, fits with the deterioration after 10 days if symptoms havenít started clearing.

7 AU deaths yesterday, might see a bit of a spike now, another 91 in critical

I think yours are a couple of weeks behind ours. We had our worst day yesterday, 21 deaths () but they were mainly taken in a month or so ago, it's not an instant killer - we're also seeing lower rates of people being brought in as the restrictions are working. We've been more effective too because we implemented them quickly and decisively.

Spain finally slowing a bit but it's so fucking grim. My inlaws in Gijůn are away from the worst of it thank fuck, Madrid and the Mediterranean coast is where it's really kicked off, but there are people dying there too and they're in the risk category obviously so can't help but worry.

was kinda worried last week but everything seems good

Weird conversation telling your family that there is a good chance you might have it and by the way I'm in FUCKING BONDI

If you were here embers you would be locked up, the amount of people still around is ridiculous, it's about 10% what it was but people here are fucken weirdos, between the YOLO travellers and the entitled locals, the only way this works is with cops fining the fuck out of everyone

WA normally has a stack of Irish doctors here at any one time (better conditions, weather, etc). About 60 of them spent effort hassling both governments to get them a special flight home, so they could help. I know a couple that moved back. As you noted, theyíve said it definitely hasnít kicked off like they were expecting just yet

I'm legit surprised how much civic responsibility most of WA has shown so far. Still unsure if we go full sydney cooked cunt this long weekend and get the beaches shut though.

Comments on McGowans FB posts are always hilarious now. Embers definitely not the only one with wet panties. Coronavirus might not be spreading, but plenty of middle aged women are

Yep I heard about repatriating the doctors.

The Taoiseach (prime minister) is an ex GP and he's after re-registering and working in a medical centre one day a week now. Bit look-at-me maybe but fair play to him.

Itís being mapped by the government. Havenít seen that data but all Iíve been told is QLD/NSW have busier then ever places like parks. Same isnít true for WA, VIC or SA. Easter though might change that

Whats really odd is QLD/NSW data shows them as the most socially active but the drop in expenditure as a percentage is also the largest in those 2 states too with SA/WA seeing the lowest drop

Question is, WTF are these fuckwits doing when they go out? Appears to me they are just wandering around aimlessly or something

Beach’s have been pretty packed, been like high 20’s and sunny all weekend .

With no flags and a massive open coastline didn’t really see much congregating though. A few of the northern beaches have been closed to stop the day trippers
