Also, let say in 6 weeks time we get numbers down again, push to start reopening and the same thing happens, what happens at that point? Can't really keep doing this indefinitely I wouldn't have thought. Same for other states, if they blow up at some point, bring it in but it goes out again, do you then just go the fuck it approach?
Other States seem like that are somewhat competent/prepared to deal with another outbreak, also helps they've effectively eliminated it so as long as they can jump on a case early they'll be fine. We are fucked on the other hand because this level of community transmissions is probably too much to come back from without a 10+ week lockdown, especially when you consider that cases will probably keep rising for another 1-2 weeks. This lockdown is effectively the same length as the first one (late-March to early May) but its starting from a much different position.
Enforcement needs to be super strict, especially in that North-West corridor where 80% of the cases are. Really just need to drop in a thicc wall from Melbourne CBD upwards and we'll be right dylan123.

need to publicly name people who break lockdown measures
This fucking sucks.
Work was ridiculous, within an hour of the announcement the store was absolutely flooded with people, we did a normal day of sales in the span of 2 hours, every customer was like 'gee people just go nuts don't they?' YET HERE YOU ARE?!

Can you guys just lock down for 3 months and eliminate thnks. Wouldn’t actually mind a lockdown in winter, but fuck this shit potentially happening anywhere in straya sometime during spring/summer later in the year. Would be the ultimate first world problem for me![]()
That's what it should have been like here. In fact it's actually been the best March April May June ever, certainly since I moved here, but now the restrictions are pretty well eased out it's fucking lashing
Not really affecting me because I'm effectively housebound anyway (long story and not Covid related) but it's always the way.
Souvent pour s'amuser les hommes d'equipage
And it's like talking to a stranger
Dan Andrews "its everyones fault but mine" press conference was hilarious yesterday. I cant believe the press let him get away with it so easily. What is it with Victorian press and not asking any tough questions
Something like 50 000 people left Covidtoria yesterday. Seems like NSW had a record number of people enter the state from Victoria on a given day![]()
People willing to pay HQ in QLD to get out of Victoria so QLD have had to shut off that completely![]()

The human element is the most dangerous and unpredictable element to this virus imo. In a theoretical sense, if people adhere to the rules and did the right thing then it would be much easier to control and eradicate. However the selfishness, arrogance and ignorance of the general population makes it impossible. Just look at the people refusing to get tested, ignoring social distancing rules, believing that the virus isn't real. What hope do we really have?

Albury and Wodonga combined is close to 100k and I'd expect the vast majority of border crossings between NSW and Vic to be in that region.
Modern society is cucked by the lewd actions of the scandalous and powerful slutty woman, so much that she is beyond reproach.
Visually unattractive men have their hands tied on this issue because they would be accused of being jealous, even if those men were chaste, because almost every man is totally willing to engage in promiscuous sexual encounters.

Today will be D Day really. Case numbers will either be say 300+ or not. If they are not they should feel relatively comfortable in that 6 week lockdown time frame
I don't get why they don't just outright say wear masks and provide guidance on how to make one at home.
