Was thinking today of the old thread we used to have, can't remember if it was RZ or TIA where we had a list of people, 1 person would select an album and the rest of us would listen during the week and review?

Would be keen to start something like that again if we have a few peeps!
We demand an investigation into the replacement of referee Rafshan Irmatov and his departure at a difficult time in such an important match. We ask for an examination of the grassland that was not suitable for the Syrian team, while Australian players seem to be wearing shoes that cling to the long grass, so we saw Syrian players fall during the game, while Australia's players are steady.

"Bad Company" has such an awesome intro and chorus but there's literally nothing else to the song.

And also its a little bit weird hearing a band sing the name of their own band over and over again. The song would be so much lamer if it was just a chorus of "BONNNN JOOOOOVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII"

If you fought people in pubs or tram stops for a living, I'd want a guy on hand ready to put that on a jukebox.

Moment you hear that interlude you just know someone is getting hurt

I always assumed he had the song written before Free broke up and he had to get a band together quick to record it.

Like Icehouse having to name themselves after their album title because the covers were already printed when they had to change their name.

I've been given the task of creating a Hot Dub Time Machine-esque playlist for an engagement party in a few weeks.

I currently have it starting in 1960 but I'll more than likely push it back 10 years and start it in 1950. The first hour will go largely unnoticed as the crowd slowly filters in and the '60s is too good to waste.

It's tough trying to appease the masses without turning it into any other typical engagement party playlist - Horses, Pony etc.

Never thought I'd have this much fun creating a playlist though, and I haven't even started on the personal touches yet.

The more I think about the more I come to terms with selling out. By the time the '90s comes around, everyone will be sloshed which makes for some good singalongs.

The wedding party I was at on Friday a mate (the brother in law of the bride) had worked really hard on his setlist and it was barely audible in the end. I don't think it's really worth taking that much time over. As floot would say, read the room Clint.

An easy one but if shit's flagging Hey Ya always raises it a notch.
