    2020 Transfers

Liverpool ramping up interest in Jamal Lewis for 10 million. Think that's ripping business personally, would imagine he'd be happy to sit behind Robertson and play when required, and for 10 million if it doesn't work, who cares. LFC twitter melting about it because apparently we need a world class left back to sit behind the one we already have.

Thiago the obvious one which will be nice even at his current age. Will give our midfield something it sorely lacks. Ismaila Sarr is the other one we're being linked to at the moment, we could definitely do with some wing cover if Brewster is going out on loan again.

Im a better footballer then Ismalia Sarr. That would be terrible business. Jamal Lewis would be good business

We have a transfer budget of 0 dollars and have to sell before we buy. Would hope/expect we just sell Felipe Anderson and Sebastian Haller, take the hit and try to spend it better next time. Suspect Anderson still gets us 20 mill and Haller maybe back to Frankfurt for 35 is the rumor.

Would like us to sign Callum Wilson, as well as Eze. After that we just need defenders and more defenders. Need to find another CB as the 4 we have are absurdly injury prone, we also need a new LB and we need to find a way to dump Ryan Fredericks to the Championship and sign a better Championship RB in his replacement

Wasn't Anderson going to be the saviour at the Hammers? Club really needs to upgrade everything off field before focusing their attention on the pitch. Reckon your mob go down next season. Need to invest heavy and won't because covid.

Anderson was so good in his first season, a pure excitement machine. Big attitude issues there.

Seems we're finally rid of the Sánchez curse, Inter have listed him in their Europa squad. What a ridiculous idea that whole business was. The utter pianist.

Apparently we're going back to buying Southampton players again. Hojberg (sp?) for £15m

Not that I really believe it tbh. Not sure how many teams will do any sort of business this window with the amount of money they've lost

Man City already signed Ferran Torres and Nathan Ake

Chelsea have Timo Werner and should have Kai Havertz by the end of the week.

Højbjerg turned down Everton so I'm a fan.

Chelsea might be alright now, I do wonder if guys like Mount and Abraham will crack it now they're going to be forced into taking a back-seat

Was well reported Willian wanted 3 years and we weren't gonna budge.

I think the signings of Ziyech, Werner and probably Havertz along with the stud that is Pulisic was the writing on the wall for him. Plus we have Hudson Odoi who better fucking show something next season for the amount we're paying him.

At least Willian didn't go to Spurs... "He hates Tottenham, he hates Tottenham"

Well known Real Madrid put in a bid, we said no and he chucked his toys out of the pram. He is now a fat lazy sack of shit.

Dont get the Sancho hype. Too lightweight, inconsistent and too expensive. Also think he would clash with Fernandes.

Kind of think United need to just get 2 CMs. Id probably be going apeshit for Declan Rice if I was your lot. Type of player you need and want. Will probably cost 60-80 mill though but better money then Sancho in regards to a guaranteed first team performer who will do a job every single time he steps onto the field

Scunthorpe have signed 5 players this week. Which is good. But also a worry as we don't have a manager or transfer director. So, who is signing these players then.....the chairman most likely, as he has done in the past to such great success.

It is also a worry when most of them played in the Conference last year to varied success. A Long year coming up for the Iron.

we now have a manager. Former assistant at Notts Country and AFC Wimbledon, Neil Cox. Cox played for the club and is a local so he is getting his first chance were it all started for him.

Can't wait to we sing "Cox Out" when we suck this year.

Norwich wanting £20m plus for Lewis so we've moved on and had an 11m bid accepted on a Greek bloke called Kostas Tsimakis

BobbyMorri Thoughts on the salary cup League 1 & 2 now have in place?

Think it makes it very hard for those team to get promoted now.

Good news for Man United. Horribly overrated and not what they need.

very. the relegated championship clubs will have a huge advantage in league 1 now. heck, some conference teams spend more than 1.5 mil. They are very small caps. Scunthorpe was spending 6 mil in wages a couple of years ago in league 1. In saying that, we were spending way beyond our means. we lived a dream and we are lucky our chairman, for all his other faults, puts money into the club. It hurts the really big clubs, like Sunderland and Bradford, as they can't spend there way out of trouble.

now is a good time to do it and prevent clubs, like scunny, from overspending and dying. this is going to be a very hard year for all the clubs who need fans at the gate to generate income. I am sure the big clubs will find a way to work around the rules. they still have other advantages to fall back on.

The championship is a mess with the debt each club has. And the PL, the rich get richer...I prefer a cap, even if it means we will be worse off in terms of fighting power compared to the 2 top tiers.

Tsimikas signed. Finally we enter a season with a proper left back deputy. Right back sorted with Neco Williams too. Unprecedented times

Chelsea going apeshit in the market atm.

Werner/Thiago Silva/Ziyech(seems a bad transfer this)/Havertz (very very good deal)

Chilwell also coming in. Next year a team of

    Kepa
    Azipilaceuta, Rudiger, Silva, Chilwell
    Jorginho, Kante
    Ziyech , Havertz, Pulsic
    Werner

Good depth on the bench too.

Should overtake Man City and challenge for the title. Expect Werner to win the Golden Boot myself

Apparently trying to swap Kepa for Oblak too.

The transfer ban stopped us going after depth at stupid prices, so now we go balls deep getting big deals done
