Dunno, Lenny Wilkens got there doing a similar thing over a long period, also had the one title that almost feels more like an accident than a testament.

Doc has coached some phenomenally talented teams though which I think gives him the edge over Wilkens who was much more of a take on a bad team and try and fix them type.

Lucky we have a decent GM now that can actually find decent role players for once. Niang is such a giant upgrade over Mike Scott its ridiculous. Drummond has been much better than Dwight too.

Pretty much. Too bad your GM doesnt have a good coach to work with. The Ben Simmons situation is entirely Docs fault for example

I do wonder if Doc got the sack if Simmons comes back.

In any sense it really is time for Morey to just bite the bullet on this one. If you ask me he made a horrible mistake in not taking on the Brogdon deal. I also just cant see Lillard wanting to join 76ers. If he goes he will go to New York. If Lillard goes Portland go full re build and will simply want picks + expiring deals + young players rather then contracts like Simmons has. New York can give up 5 first rounders + Toppin + Fourniers crap contract for example

Funny to think that if Lakers just didnt bother with Westbrook they could have got Schroder, DeRozan and Caruso signed instead.

What a weirdly dumb trade that was

Damn Isaiah Stewart was ready to kill LeBron. Blood pouring down his face from a dirty elbow.

Wish they just let him go at him. You're tanking anyway. Couldve been Malice 2.0
