Raptors have a problem at C. Baynes has been woeful, Boucher is just too undersized and not good enough in the defense. Len is not up to it. They need to figure something out before it costs them any chance. Tend to think they may do a trade for a guy like Mo Bamba to see if they can get him going
Trying to have a run at Giannis has really fucked us.

We purposefully left enough cap space open so we could offer a max deal to him which in turn meant we only offered Gasol and Ibaka 1 year deals. Ibaka is a massive loss, huge in the locker room and was a really consistent scorer which we struggle with. We're an alright core who is missing a star scorer and without it and then giving up those pieces, we just suck.

I think it's also worth remembering we're the only team out there that doesn't play at home court which I think would be a pretty big disadvantage, not sure where we go to here - probably blow it up.

Being too absorbed in the Van Vleet deal meant you missed out on any Cs. I think a guy like Whiteside would have been ideal.

3rd game in 4 days. Haven't watched as I was at work but twitter were saying they were noticeable lethargic and lazy especially on D.

I bet on the Nets thinking Allen would limit Embiid and that Seth Curry was too big a loss so watched it

About right. Only one who looked up for it was Harris

Simmons was particularly bad. Levert gave him a bath especially early on

Curry been in great form, big loss

Had Harris $101 top scorer... pretty lucky since it was before Kyrie was out.. first big hit for a top scorer so far.. plenty been close though.. good market if bet night before and hope a big hitter is out

Just turned on the Raptors game, Kings 46 points in the first quarter, shooting 81.8% - 18/22 FG and 7/9 from 3

Lol NBA forcing us to play with 7 healthy players after Ben and Jo have "injuries", the rest of the guys are in quarantine.

39/7/6 for the rookie. Good showing. Not efficient but good for a shit situation.

I have no issue with the NBA punishing teams who rest players like the Sixers did. I hate the resting of players in general though, just such a shitty thing to do, especially given how incredibly soft the league has become from a physicality viewpoint, it's never been a more non-contact sport.

If nothing else all the resting going on this season destroys the NBAPA narrative for a shorter season, they're resting just as much despite getting that desired shorter season.

Rested? We had half the team in quarantine and the league showed no care for players health by forcing the team to play. Ben and Jo just made the stand they didn't want to play.

I don't understand how Washington players weren't subject to the health and safety protocols too on the basis the 76ers players were close contacts of a positive case.

Surely if you're playing against players deemed close contacts, then you are also in scope of contracting COVID.

They donít consider them a close contact til someone they were physically in contact with got Covid

Jayson Tatum got Covid so now Bradley Beal is out for 7 to 10 days since they shook hands after the latest game

Yeah they don't classify the game as close contact. Only post/pre game, travel, rooms etc. It's fucking stupid

Given the non contact nature of the game today, I think that makes perfect sense in a way

    Sources: Full current trade:

    Rockets: Victor Oladipo, Dante Exum, Rodions Kurucs, 3 BKN first-rounders (22, 24, 26), 1 MIL first (22, unprotected), 4 BKN 1st round swaps (21, 23, 25, 27)

    Nets: James Harden

    Pacers: Caris LeVert, 2nd-rounder

    Cavs: Jarrett Allen, Taurean Prince

Nets lost the plot I reckon. Absolutely bonkers amount of draft capital sent away
