They tried to get 2 of their coaches and weren't allowed to.
QB has to have an intimate knowledge of the playbook which even just the nomenclature takes a significant amount of time to learn (as in weeks). You could get a prime Tom Brady in there and it wouldn't have been any better because he wouldn't know the blocking schemes, passing tree, any of the plays, audibles or anything.
Basically Hinton was as good as they could do, he was good enough to actually play at collegiate level as a QB and mobile enough to actually have a chance to extend plays and actually knows the playbook.
Jared Goff for me is the most attrractive man in the world at the moment
