Such a tough decision between Romo and having to endure channel 7 in general.

I'm trying to find some bar in Phuket showing it at 5am, have dug up a couple but should be interesting.

It's an acquired taste especially with the stop start nature of it. My mate basically sees it as 140 - 150 set plays dragged out over 3 to 4 hours.

He also get rustled by the whole clock management and predictably towards the end and the fact the outcome can be decided with 2 mins left in a close game.

It's exponentially more enjoyable if you have understanding of clock management otherwise it all seems a bit ridiculous.

Overall I think it's still pretty shit.

Love the sport, enjoyed that game as a fan of defense, both defensive coaches (both all times greats fwiw) did fantastic jobs of taking away what the other team wanted. Can't remember the last time I saw Brady struggling to make reads that often, was crazy effective.

Goff had a mare though, really rattled by the pressure and didn't seem to be able to make any correct reads all game.

Gurley still saying he wasn't hurt, if that's the case you have to question a team that doesn't use him in a game that until the last 4 minutes was never in a pass only situation.

Edelman was absurd. Develin is the unheralded hero but if I was voting for a Pats playoff MVP he'd get it, he set the key block on pretty much every big play they had, I've never seen a full back dominate a playoff like he has, just incredible. Michel had a coming out party as well and will probably be the one who gets the media hype but Develin was the man.

Be interesting to see if Gronk goes around again, he actually looked good today but hasn't all year and with his injury history you wonder if how much longer he can go, throw in that he just loves living large and you wonder if he'd rather just go and party from here.

NFL is an absolutely brilliant sport.

In saying that, the NFL got the Super Bowl it deserved. Rams shouldn’t have been there and I think it would have been a much more entertaining contest with the Saints playing.

    Fuck Goodell.

Thought Brady was a touch off in the first and it could’ve easily been all over but the rams did well in the 2nd and 3rd. Their offence needed to do something in the last though because you’re never holding Brady in the 4th.

Yeah that was a credit to the Rams defense, they genuinely had him confused on the pre-snap reads which is an effort in itself, normally Brady's issue is when the OL doesn't hold up as that's all that's stopping him, I can't recall the last time he struggled with reads like that.

Once they went to the 21 formation with Develin in there they took over, part of it was the Rams defense gassed a bit but mostly just the couple of extra blockers overwhelmed the undersized Rams backers and opened big gaps to gash, they also caught them in bad man matchups when the corners got stuck on Allen and Develin instead of Edelman!

Be interesting to see if it sustains it, wasn't a bad product at all from the highlights I saw, in particular that huge hit that didn't get a shitty flag was beautiful.

Don't think so, pretty sure it's still the old school TV viewers only.

They sometimes do a combined numbers where online viewing is also included.

To be fair it was a Houston game who are a really hard team to watch, especially for casual fans who don't even appreciate the "nuance" in what Harden does and just think, rightfully, that it's pathetic! Thunder also a pretty unpopular team nationally.

That's the last game on CBS until the championship though so probably wont post those kinds of numbers again, the other game that was broadcast was much lower in ratings.

Personally I hope it succeeds because the NFL is going down a path that I really don't enjoy with the transition to glorified flag football. Probably why I enjoyed the SB so much was partly because the defenses actually being allowed to play was a big FU to Goodell the ginger fuckstick.
